OpenOffice
Is a line of software that is based on the popular Microsoft Office suite. I was impressed of how all of these programs can be used for free. There are 5 parts to this... Writer-the word processor, Calc-the spreadsheet software, Impress-the presentation software, Base-the database creator and finally, Draw-a powerful drawing software.
Over the next few days I intend to test this out and see how I like them all, and I will report on my findings... I think that from what I can see, it should be an interesting experiment.
