Living with or without my cellphone...

This still amazes me.

I would have never thought that
after eight years I would still be that CML. Back then I would come to the library back in the summer of 2000, that I would be a part of a culture that cultivates change. Not just change in technology, but a change at the fundamental level. Yes technology has made an impact, further I have both been a part of the change in a way or have changed because of it. For instance, I can't live without my computer (both at work or at home). Secondly, as much as I love to write, I still can't live without my pen or pad... Lastly, I can't live without my cell. I can try to escape it, but I can't do it... you know?

It became a part of me--and it hasn't left me at all. What's funnier--is that even though my cell phone is probably the most seen item with me most of the time, I think in eight years I have changed my phone number at least 12 times. So many that, last year my boss Chip actually said to me, "So, how many times are you going to change your phone number now?"

I couldn't help but laugh. But it goes to show you how much we either depend or need technology in our everyday lives both at work or at home.

Just some food for thought.
